It provides more than enough adequacy for pocket-sized & medium size articles & distributers with fraction of cost of regular ERP. If yous are QB users and you take inventory, guild or purchase management, this is what you lot need.

This software is easy to apply and like shooting fish in a barrel to deploy. Great extension for QB users. It can also connect Shopify, Amazon, Ebay, Shipping management such as Shiprush, etc.

In Inventory, you have 2 types of materials: Part and Product. This is somehow disruptive.

We purchased inventory software from Fishbowl and then had an exceptionally hard time implementing the software. We paid for a number of items that nosotros have not received months after, went weeks without receiving responses from them during the implementation process, and were verbally promised things that they have walked back or denied entirely. Worst of all, because of their lack of responsiveness, they claim that we are not eligible for a refund on the software because we are past the fourth dimension limit for the satisfaction guarantee. Integrations, services, implementation back up, and custom reports were paid for and never received. The server has been down for long time periods (days at a time), credit bill of fare systems won't integrate properly and the software crashes regularly on our machines. Rather than endeavour to do what is right and work things through, they have opted to take a hard line on this upshot with no flexibility at all. Nosotros are now currently pursuing legal activeness. If you are considering using their products or services I would recommend in the strongest of language possible to non do whatever business with this company.

It appeared to be a keen production before we purchased it

Bespeak of auction software is nearly un-usable. Information technology does not support gift cards or customer accounts in any functional way. Implementation and support from the software company are across poor even later on paying many thousands of dollars for extra back up and help with implementation.

Supposed integration with our eCommerce software that was not actually viable (which nosotros establish out afterward the fact)

Fishbowl has helped us relieve money past being able to control everything from inside and not having to hire multiple third parties to brand connections. Fishbowl continues to add and upgrade the software to what consumers ask for.

Fishbowl software is piece of cake to use. I like that you always have step by pace instructions and some videos to help guide yous. If you don't observe what you are looking for, all it takes is an email, and back up helps you every bit quickly every bit they can.

The only negative issue I have while using Fishbowl software is with the reports. Even though they take multiple reports to choose from, I feel as some of them can be upgraded to include more than than one product a t a time. Instance, when searching for a product that was sold on a particular day, and you lot have more than i size of the same production, it would be nice to be able to select as many products equally you lot want to wait at versus one at a time.

The company I work for volition have multiple users at any given fourth dimension, the other big named software could not handle more than 1 or ii people in information technology, or it would freeze up. We had to adjust our schedules to become piece of work done which was very frustrating. We started out with Fishbowl in 2017, switched over to the big name in 2018, but afterwards a few curt months, we fabricated the switch dorsum to Fishbowl in 2018, as it is the best option for what we need and can suit our inventory management. We however have the big named software just it is but used for accounting.

Thank you and then much for this review, Michelle. We capeesh you taking the time to provide your feedback. Nosotros are happy to hear that your feel has been satisfactory and will take your suggestions into consideration while we continue to brand improvements.

Integration with our accounting software. Able to relieve documents to the drive for later retrieve. Multiple users in the organisation without tedious down. Get ship quotes while staying in the sales society. Able to e-mail customer estimates from sales order.

Updates sometimes crusade issues with the software and need to be addressed by client service. Client service is but open 8-vi mountain time. Our third party forms are easily cleaved when major updates are needed. This slows our processes down.

We were having issues with the amount of data slowing our phone call centre down.

Fishbowl Management software has offered our team a consummate supply chain management and physical sales tracking system in one convenient organisation . In this time especially , nosotros sympathise that organization and efficiency are paramount to surviving let alone prospering and nosotros are thankful to Fishbowl for helping.

Our squad found both these ease of use and relative ease of integration to be among the well-nigh attractive components of Fishbowl. The variety of modules let shut monitoring of essentially every aspect of physical asset tracking . With Fishbowl we tin can organize warehouse parts inventory , print labels, and organize purchase orders which organizes our supply side. Fishbowl'due south sales side module allows for effective tracking of lead times too as sales particular forecasting so we are never behind on available inventory .

Fishbowl Manufacturing software at this time time requires the utilize of a server which nosotros had to supply . In commutation for all other features , we see this as a nominal and not inconvenient requirement as at the time we were adding new computer assets. This requirement may not accommodate all smaller companies.

We selected Fishbowl Inventory Management software over alternatives for its comprehensive module options which allow for a complete organisation of our part and warehouse at present optimized with a main consideration to sales output and production. We could non ask for more than in this surface area of business operations.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, Louis. We appreciate your business concern and are happy to know that your experience has been satisfactory.

Being able to operate higher up and across to what we used to. Nosotros can now compete with our competitors

I absolutely dearest that FB is easy to utilise and piece of cake to teach. It has all the features that our company uses daily. Examples include customer pricing rules, client "numbers" or customer sku's, Auto PO function, The import/export characteristic has been a God-ship when we demand to import products to our website or transport information to our customers. The substitute feature is very helpful too. We also really love how we tin create custom fields within every module. I really beloved how the FB squad remembers our company when we telephone call and goes higher up and beyond when we take a hiccup or questions. We can thank FB for some of our visitor's success. W/o being able to correctly track inventory and use it for daily operations, nosotros wouldn't be operating at the level nosotros are today.

There aren't things that I similar "the least" but there are things I wish FB offered/had that would help our type of business/company. This includes: 1) Since we are a product distributor, we provide a lot of our customers w/ "quotes." FB has the ability to create an "gauge" only no way to store it or look back at it for reference. Pricing rules are essentially but created in our line of performance when a client begins buying a product. And so, we have to create "quotes" on excel sheets and save them on our network binder. And so information technology would exist easier if information technology was all w/in FB. Or if in that location was a unlike section from pricing rules that you could make a pricing rule? If that makes sense ii) Wish we could customize reports that are staples of FB westward/o paying loftier dollar. For ex. the packing sideslip should have a signature line or at least the option to include it. Or there should be options on layouts or what columns to include. Besides, nosotros've gotten feedback from customers on how they wish the item # and clarification where split into different columns. iii) If FB alerted a user if a sales society has been in the system for "10" amount of time. Like a dormant So in FB 4) Be able to sort the packing slip. Ex. by Item #, customer #, item description, etc. five) Had a UNSPSC code field. We've found that this is going to be an important code for future web sales.

I've been using Fishbowl for the past twelvemonth. I bought it for a few reasons. One of the biggest reasons for me was because it can allow me to save credit card information for clients who continually order through our visitor. Another reason I liked it, is considering I could identify orders from anywhere using one of the plug ins. Simply the biggest reason I purchased it is considering of it'south accuracy in inventory, and because of the depth of the software features, I know that when I expand and have more than 1 location, a warehouse total of vases, ribbon, and potentially open a wholesale location for a facet of the industry in addition to the flowers, I'm non going to outgrow the software. I'chiliad not fifty-fifty using all the features right at present, but I tin can't expect until my small flower shop is big enough to accept 3-4 locations, and use the reorder points! I know that sounds airheaded, but the software has been so prissy because I can scale it for what I demand now, and grow into it. And it's PAID for. That always feels prissy :)

Encrypted credit carte capture to charge recurring clients Stores pictures of the products that we sell Piece of cake to add parts and products Lots and lots and lots of reports--- I don't think I've even opened one-half of them yet! I like how many features it has fifty-fifty though I don't utilise them all... it makes me think "When I get that far, and so I tin can utilise this software to {make full in the blank} it's dainty to know I literally have no limitations

I haven't found anything however!

We are a Head Start agency that uses FishBowl to purchase, track, and upshot inventory to 60 Head Start classrooms and bureau departments. Our system uses SharePoint, which is accessed by each classroom/dept. to place their order which is in turn sent to the approval supervisor. Once it is approved, it goes to the Purchasing office were it is imported into FishBowl (all washed electronically within the magic of computer land...and the Information technology department). Nosotros started looking for new inventory software when the software we had did non support the Windows 7 that we were upgrading to. We needed a fully integrated inventory software program that not only supported our classrooms, merely would provide the Finance dept. with the information they needed. One of the features I similar well-nigh FishBowl is that as soon equally Purchasing processes the classroom/dept. asking, an electronic mail is sent to the requestor letting them know Purchasing has received their order and information technology is in the process of beingness filled. When the society has been shipped, another electronic mail is sent to let the requestor know the society is on it's way. This e-mail characteristic has greatly reduced the number of calls received from our classrooms requesting status on their order and when it will be sent to them (I actually, actually similar it). We have ready reorder points and default vendors, which makes placing orders to furnish warehouse stock like shooting fish in a barrel and well-nigh effortless. Each vendor has their own part unit of measurement of measure and unit of measure conversion, which makes processing receipts magic (well almost). The tracking feature on a warehouse role has helped to track expiration dates on food (milk, yogurt, cheese, etc.). The expiration dates are printed on the packing slip that goes out with each social club and helps us resolve expiration date issues. FishBowl will also allow us know an item is nearing its expiration date prior to processing the shipment. Another feature of FishBowl that has come up in handy is the ability to monitor specific warehouse stock. I use the feature to monitor our milk products (Soy, Lactaid, Rice Milk, Goats Milk, etc.) to make sure we have enough on hand at all times to ensure we receive Federal reimbursement for meals served. These items are monitored on a daily basis due to their sensitive nature. The Dashboard tab provides a quick synopsis of sales, purchase orders, RMA,s etc. The beginning two FishBowl tabls I await at are the Monitor and DashBoard tab that will permit me know the wellness of our inventory and status of orders. Thumbs up to the programmers that wrote these features into the system. Sales orders and back orders are easily maintained and monitored. I can procedure order requests, and hold them until such fourth dimension as I demand them to be processes for shipment. FishBowl provides us with reports on classroom expenditures (food/supplies or combination). Nosotros maintain two warehouse identifyiers to place our supply items from our nutrient items. There are custom fields that tin can be added to input processing that can further help in processing specific types of reports and tracking data. Prior to using FishBowl we had trainers from FishBowl requite usa module by module preparation and help us gear up and transfer data from our old inventory system to FishBowl. I cannot say plenty practiced things almost the aid we received. Notation: The online aid and training is a swell resource also. FishBowl provideds many features which nosotros are utilizing and others that we will grow into. FishBowl has a different look and feel from the software we were using, simply once we started FishBowl, it has get 2nd nature. There is so much more nigh FishBowl than there is space to write this review. If you need more than data delight contact me.

North Park is a 3rd Party Logistics and Contract Packaging business, specializing in lite manufacturing, warehousing, and B2C shipping services. We provide each client the service and attention but the 'big guys' become at other fulfillment houses. Our search for a new Inventory/Manufacturing software solution was prompted past our move away from a warehouse operation towards a 3rd party solution for small to medium-sized businesses, that are outgrowing their electric current warehousing capabilities. Prior to using Fishbowl Inventory, we used 'MS Dynamics AX' (think 'GP' on steroids). Our management team has had decades of experience using everything from BaAn and SAP to high-cease custom systems, and fifty-fifty home-grown customized solutions. We chose Fishbowl Inventory primarily based on value, integration west/Quickbooks, and ease-of-apply. We've been running for more than than iii years, currently running ver 13.2 Manufacturing, Salespoint and Mobile Warehouse. We highly recommend staying updated with the current version, as improvements and features are continually being added. Initial install and implementation took u.s.a. less than a full day, including import of Customer, Item, BOM, etc. from QB. User training took a week or so for all our team to exist upwards and running well plenty to use it in live production. (Only one of usa spent any fourth dimension in the demo.) For the almost part, Fishbowl is simple and intuitive to apply. There are very few places or processes where the desired next step isn't obvious. However, we've establish many useful tips & tricks that we benefit from greatly, and most would take been learned with onsite training, but we declined initially considering of our extensive background with other systems. Customer back up has been admittedly fantastic for the states! We employ the Live Chat option every bit first contact, and simply rarely need to resort to phone calls. Despite the recorded phone tree that is standard today, Fishbowl'due south is well-nigh as curt equally it can be and nonetheless direct your call to the correct group. Once in that location, it's always get out a bulletin and await for a call-back; but I've always gotten a call within 2 hours (commonly less). For truly urgent needs, I've ever been able to recall, go the operator and arrive touch with Support that can at to the lowest degree identify the upshot and advise some troubleshooting I can practise while awaiting Technical assist. In 3 years nosotros've only had one instance of down-time due to system failure and that was resolved and nosotros were up and running in 2hrs. Biggest benefits of using Fishbowl for us are ease of implementation and utilise; power/reliability of the system; manufacturing capabilities (only shortcoming there is full MRP/CRP/ERP modules for planning, but for our size and complexity it does surpisingly well). The biggest shortfall of Fishbowl for us is Reporting. The nature of our business doesn't lend itself well to many of the standard informational reports (operational reports are fine). However, Fishbowl is ODBC compliant, their reporting platform is open up source (similar to Crystal Reports, but a bit steeper learning curve), and if y'all're not comfortable with SQL there are several 3rd political party options for customizing reports.

I'chiliad an Avant-garde QuickBooks Pro Counselor and I specialize in Inventory prepare and management. I haven't found whatever program with as many capabilities at such a low cost range equally Fishbowl. Netsuite can handle what Fishbowl does simply tin can easily get into the hundreds of thousands to setup and get started and I found the process very circuitous. Fishbowl on the other hand, can import from QuickBooks and have yous set and running in only a few minutes, though I stress that this should be used as examination only. To accurately use Fishbowl it tin accept months to setup and acquire properly. This largely depends on your current experience with technology, bookkeeping practices and inventory cognition.

The support isn't stable. Depending on your fourth dimension zone, you'll get a different team. Some zones, depending on the day and time, volition pick up your telephone call immediately and be very knowledgeable and helpful. Others will take a day to become back to yous and you'll get someone who's merely been there a few months just will confidently tell y'all something equally fact and yous might find our after they don't really know what they're talking almost. Nevertheless, the online wiki is very detailed and then if you're someone who tin can figure out things on your own, this will be a huge help. Basically, I've found that most people who complain most Fishbowl are really complaining nearly inventory, which is hugely complex. But if yous're a detail oriented visitor with personnel who don't cut corners, Fishbowl tin be an excellent fit for you. Just don't expect it to exist easy!

The customer back up is peachy. It'south just hard to get a hold of them when you need to speak to a alive person on the phone. The people who work there are the nicest and most helpful when you lot exercise get to talk to them and they practise resolve the day to day issues that pop upwards. ie, inventory getting stuck in committed condition is a pretty quick ready, but then again, should it really happen in the first place?. Bigger bug take more time to fix, but they seem to proceed working on information technology until its resolved. The people they take providing grooming are fantabulous. The wikis are pretty easy to access and are pretty proficient

This year the updates seem to break something that's had been working. Then information technology takes hours with customer support to fix and go going once more. The phone back up team could use more than staff because it does accept hours to get a call dorsum. The reports are difficult to customize, you have to know programming. There is no simple report writer function or a reports that tin exist customized. If yous have to pick inventory from two locations for ane sales lodge, it will create two invoices. There is no way effectually that in Fishbowl. The calendar is pretty basic, could use enhancements. The inventory consign CSV file does not use FIFO, merely boilerplate costing. And then if you lot utilize FIFO or whatever other method other than average costing, you accept to use a unlike report instead of getting the information in CSV format. The aircraft module is frustrating and the way it is fix up does not allow u.s. to use carton count efficiently, and so we accept to modify the packing listing afterward it's printed. If you want Fishbowl to count the cartons for y'all, you take to add each carton manually. And if yous do that, it will non total or summarize the number of cartons you take, it volition list each ane individually. Then you could have a packing listing that could exist several pages long. The UPS integration used to be great and so UPS updated, Fishbowl did not back up the updated software and we had to change to UPS Worldship. Definitely a footstep backwards considering the quondam integration worked beautifully. At present it's more than manual and cumbersome.

There aren't as many reports every bit I would like and it isn't very intuitive to setup - we had to rent an outside proficient.

Inventory management is a cakewalk, great for warehousing and manufacturing bigger build products, the modules, and UI is well thought out, and very logical, they did a great chore with it. They have great eCommerce integrations they added on for magento and amazon which makes it more powerful. The fact that you buy the product upwardly front (with a yr of support that can be renewed) makes information technology seem like you are saving money by owning the software, but you'll need to upgrade every year until the software does what yous want information technology.

Information technology's not bad if you are manufacturing the same thing over and over, so you lot need 500 or m widgets made the aforementioned mode. It's a pretty powerful tool for warehousing and inventory. It costs for just the warehousing, plus users and add-ons. They'll requite you a discount if you enquire them, but you nigh should just go with a saas plan you'll become quicker updates. fishbowl you can save lots of money down the route if you don't buy there support parcel. They accept a pretty good product evolution team, but information technology takes them at least a year it seems like to curl out any useful new features you talk to them about.

Very challenging to set up, learning bend is huge in my opinion. The BOM stages work for the most part, only you'll spend a lot of time in a sandbox database seeing if what you want works (if your doing multi stage builds) If your doing 1 to 100 of anything, and what your making varies gild to order, I'd recommend another software like ordoo, shopvox, or corbridge. Search function is amazing! Really like Fishbowl for the most role. Ordering, inventory tracking, automatic updating, etc.

1) Tin't wait at a part and come across how many times it was ordered hands. Accept to go in and out of the purchase orders. Would similar to wait at a part, see how often it was ordered and from whom, how many were ordered and how much we paid in a simple listing course. Correct now I only see the PO/Vendor without whatever of the important details similar quantity ordered and cost. 2) I as well think the Revision for an particular should follow the role. It does not. There is a revision field that shows up on the purchase order, but doesn't print anywhere AND is not the same field from the Part Detail screen. In a manufacturing environment the revision for any given part should follow the role around the database, including onto purchase orders then the vendor knows what to fabricate. Right now I have to manually enter the revision on the vendor screen. The revision from the Part Particular screen should automatically populate on the Vendor screen for said part then that when the item is ordered, it appears on the purchase order . three) I find the documentation sometimes defective detail. 4) I'd also like to be able to create custom reports myself and without turning back the hands of time and forcing Java to use an onetime revision (required for iReport). A written report cosmos part in Fishbowl would be awesome! Even my archaic old Parts & Vendors software immune me to do create custom reports.

If you are considering Fishbowl for your business concern, you will be making a wise selection. Permit me tell you a little about our business, what we were using earlier Fishbowl, and why we decided to become with them instead of the many choices you lot volition have. We are a manufactures rep agency servicing the HVAC and plumbing industry. Nosotros work directly with the wholesale market and warehouse about 750 - chiliad sku'southward. Before Fishbowl, we had no inventory programme in place - other than notebooks and getting upward to check the shelf. Every bit our business continued to abound, nosotros quickly realized the need for some sort of help in managing our inventory and purchasing. In the 2 + years since total line integration, we are very satisfied with our decision and continue to find tools and reports that we didn't even know exisited. It's a very complete system. Our decision to go with Fishbowl wasn't an easy one. There are a lot of programs out in that location that will do the aforementioned thing Fishbowl can and at stagering range of costs. We looked at over a half a dozen systems, ranging from the 6 figure programs to the custom coded excel based from the local starving student. The decision was made based on the following facts - Fishbowl works direct with Quickbooks, our electric current accounting program. Information technology works with excel which makes updating prices and importing product lines very easy. The other deciding factor was their support and training. Training was a huge concern for all of our associates. Since most of us had only been working out of notebooks or memory of inventory levels for years, and with varying levels of comfort with whatever computer program, going to whatever inventory software program was a very scary thought. We made the decision to invest into the on-site training they offered and it was the all-time decision we could take made. At that place is a learning curve, no incertitude about it and it tin can be steep depending your level of comfort and savy with a figurer. But remainder assured, the back up and grooming got us the answers and assistance we needed. The only matter I could say near Fishbowl in a negative light, is it's a picayune bit of a "one size fits all" programme. There are some feature/functions that in our business organization just aren't needed. However, as a growing small business we like the thought of having tools at our disposal even if they are left in the tool box. It's squeamish to know we have them. We are very happy with Fishbowl. It has helped united states grow our warehouse business and find loose ends in sales, stocking levels, and purchasing practices which all means at the end of the 24-hour interval we take become more profitable because of it. The more than time we put behind us the more than valuable the data has go. Nosotros are now even doing credit card transactions right out of Fishbowl! Trust Fishbowl. They will exist there for you, provide an inventory program that volition work and help you grow the business.

Overall, I am satisfied with purchasing the Fishbowl software for manufacturing beak of materials and inventory management. Have simply been using for approximately one year but so far it seems much easier to employ compared to the previous software that we used. We have only used the out of the box software. All other software's we use always required special programing which was always a hassle and large expense.

The ease of set-up and use of the manufacturing process. Very intuitive and practise non need to spend a lot of time training new people to use. Once we set up, new users can begin working with very little guidance.

The grooming was adept, simply for a startup additional training time would be good after nosotros are up and running. After the initial training I only heard from someone when they wanted to sell me something additional. No follow-upwardly calls, emails or communication to determine if there were whatever additional questions or concerns. With software I always felt that good prompt back up is essential. I still have issues with the QB accounting integration, and I receive zero support from FB.

Ease of use very intuitive. The demo that was presented prior was seamless and the flow from purchasing to inventory to manufacturing to finished goods to shipping was a cakewalk. The other software companies' presentation crashed during the demo, and they couldn't explain why, and it was awkward. Fishbowl is making my concern life easier.

It provided a decent ERP for the price but is definitely geared to low transaction volumes.

Fishbowl is relatively easy to employ (by nature, ERP systems are complex) and is relatively reliable for companies whose transactions number in the depression hundreds per twenty-four hour period. Their back up is quite effective but may exist slower than you similar -- if your concern is effectively down due to an ERP upshot, the last thing you lot want to get when yous phone call support is voicemail. Unless things accept changed in recent (2017) releases, ane must update the local client with each system update, and that can be problematic for pocket-sized shops that practise have centralized software management and take restricted local rights on their PCs. They did modify from FireDB to MySQL late final yr, which improved functioning drastically, only the database nevertheless requires a lot of optimization, care and feeding in order to become peak performance. Eventually, the company I worked for decided that it had outgrown FBI and migrated to NetSuite.

* Boring back up response * Relatively slow performance * Cannot abolish running batch jobs * They recommend(ed) running Quickbooks and Fishbowl on the same server, which meant an extremely expensive server was required. The alternative was to split the two apps onto unlike machines and feel super-slow batch updates (some ran hours)

Fishbowl is a not bad visitor to work with! They are a solutions based company that strives to accept the input of their customer. When we first implemented Fishbowl Inventory Software three years ago, nosotros utilized their on site training to help assistance with the setup and initial preparation. They don't just provide a cookie cutter approach to their support and training, they realize they work with all types of manufacture and have been able to adjust their software to piece of work in nearly every need for inventory related purposes. Their software is easy to use, better than a DOS based system, and has cracking user interface for like shooting fish in a barrel training of employees.

Fishbowl is very adept at answering your questions and their tech support. Sometimes y'all have to go out a message and they have to render a phone phone call, all the same it is in a timely manner, and they generally have a solution prior to calling you back, getting your effect resolved in a timely manner. Their "live chat" on their website is a good culling if they are unavailable by phone and your question simply can't wait.
